We can also assume that they would raise the price $5. The price for De La Hoya Mayweather went up $5.

I paid $65 for HD through TW Cable and the non HD was $60. So we can also logically assume that the price for HD would be $70, and non HD would be $65.

The problem is that Pac being a foreigner was virtually unknown outside the boxing world and philippines until the Hoya fight... He didn't reach this status until after his unprecedented three fight massacre of Hoya, Hatton, and Cotto..

We have to consider current worth before all else..

Ortiz fight shouldn't be in there either. I know it helps Floyd out but it shouldn't be used as he isn't a common opponent.

Floyd also did not do high numbers before Oscar.

Common opponents is the best way. If you or me pick a number that shows bias. Common opponents is what it is.

If that's the case then look at all numbers starting with Oscar. They were both on the B side with Oscar thus it still shows their worth.

But I dissagree with that to..just putting it out there.

The best way, without ANY bias, is FIVE common opponents.

Another thing is that Floyd agreed to the 50/50 his high payday was $26,200,000 and Pac was at $25,000,000.

Since then Floyd has done much higher numbers than Manny and has also made a $50,000,000 high payday to Pacquiao who still only made $25,000,000 as his high payday.

Theres a reason Pac spends half his training camp in the philippines and only fights twice a year now. he doesn't have to pay the same u.s. taxes as Floyd if hes only working for two months in the states.

It doesn't really matter who brings home what, or highest purses..

It's what their fights generate in a current market at their current status.. It will be divided among their promotional companies anyways...

It does matter, especially when tying that in to the revenue.

If I make $50,000,000 to fight and your getting $25,000,000 to fight, and we come together, why should you be allowed to make $27,500,000 more than your highest payday and I only get $2,500,000 more than my highest payday?

How is that fair at all? They would split $105,000,000 as projected. It's not a fair deal if you get to more than double your highest payday and I get 5% more than my highest payday.
