Despite the big talk, Matchroom want to take the path of least resistance to a title shot and ideally the weakest title holder. They talk a good game, market well but nothing suggests they really believe Brook is ready for the true elite of the division. Hopefully when the time comes he will rise to the challenge and stay on that level, otherwise all the hype was a waste of time (as it usually is).

Brook should stick to the path he is on now for the forseeable future. If he gets past jones he should be mandatory for the IBF so he won't jeopardise that. Big fights will come in time no need to rush
