British odds are really the most sensible, even if you're not used to them.

Bute is 4/7, meaning that for every dollar you spend on him you'll net profit four sevenths of a dollar if he wins.

Froch is 15/8, meaning that for every dollar you spend on him you'll net profit fifteen eighths of a dollar (or rather a dollar and 87 cents) if he wins.

The only difference is that Euro odds include your original wager.

Bute being 1.57 means that you'll get back 157 dollars if you bet 100. (your original $100 wager, plus your $57 net profit). It's just the same thing expressed a different way, but if you want to look at purely the potential profits without having to mentally subtract your base-one wager...British odds are the simplest expression.

American moneylines are just retarded.

Note, however, that they do not stack. If a new event thread is made, you get $75. If another new event thread is made before you've spent that $75 and dropped to zero again, you don't get an additional $75 to put you at $150. You get nothing and simply remain at $75. The system's automatic bank refresh only recognizes people who are zeroed out (and doesn't differentiate between whether you're flat broke with no investments, or simply all-in on a particular event...as far its programming is concerned, zero is zero...)

Let's say two people go all in with $500 on the same event on Monday. Dude 1 sees his vCash reset on Tuesday once a new event is created, and plunks another $75 down on the same event he went all in on. Then another event is made on Wednesday, and he happens to notice his jump to $75 in time and lays it as another bet. Same Thursday, Friday and Saturday. 5 x 75...that's $375 in extra bets! Meanwhile Dude 2 isn't online much during the week and doesn't notice his initial fresh bank (from Tuesday) until Saturday. He lays it down, and he's got $575 on the same event Dude 2 was able to get $875 on with the same exact starting amount at the beginning of the week.

Sucks to be Dude 2!!!
Yet another 75 on The Cobra!

I'm taking the over on this one, the only way it doesn't last over 9.5 is if Froch KOs Bute. I can't see Bute stopping Froch, especially not before the championship rounds.
