I guess Bute had a pretty serious infection in his foot during training camp? Antibiotics regimen cleared it up, I guess. But he seems good to go, excited, hungry.
I think it will be fought on the outside more cautiously than Froch has maybe led us to believe and the cleaner punches won't start coming off for the first 4 or so and by late, 9 or 10 somewhere, Bute scoring a few extra flush ones per round will start telling significantly and it might end then or it will just be when he pulls away on the cards enough to take a decision away from home. I have no dog in the race. I hope both men put on a good fight and the better one takes it. Then again, if Bute starts pulling any of these moves first:![]() ![]() ...it's over for The Cobra early.

Yeah, I liked Froch until that legend spoke.
I think not a lot of clean punches going in early sounds reasonable but I think that is big business for Bute. |

I'm 90% sure Bute stops him. Bute's underrated as a puncher and a technician. He's going to have a huge speed advantage and combined with his power and skill I don't see what Froch is going to do. And if Bute didn't think he'd be able to crack his chin I don't think he'd take his title to the UK. I think he thinks he's going to stop Froch and I'm there with him. If it goes the distance Froch only wins this one by a robbery, imo. |
