It was a massacre..Roman was demolished. It didn't pay to be a punk with George..like trying to mess with a lion at feeding time.

bring his punches 'upstairs' with flurries, and back-off.

If George Foreman was still standing by Round 14, Jose was then to go for the Knock-out
with right-hands 'down Broadway'.

Typical of a lot of Big Georges opponents at the time but then again a lot of built up careers at the time. Roman was actually better than most of Georges opponents in his padded record but Holmes and others also had the soft build-up, Bobick was another but George and Holmes at least rose to the occasion for the most part when they stepped up despite some careful navigation
