IMO there is a clear difference between a person who just ran into some problems with law and someone who is simply criminal. Whatever you may say about Golota and Szpilka (and I'm not fan of Szpilka), they were nowhere close to make crime their job.

Hopkins was a criminal, but once he served his time and started professional career you never heard about him being involved in anything that could led to legal problems. So for me the case is closed.

And, last but not least, on top of running a brothel he (Kostecki) has got some serious accusations about drug dealing. His lawyers got him out of this part... so even if you regard him innocent until proven in this aspect you probably undestood why some people are not his fans.

Dawid Kostecki was arrested last night

it's because he's not living in his permanent address in Rzeszów, only training in Warsaw, so the court in Rzeszów asked the police to arrest him, Paweł Głazewski (17-0, 4 KO) will be Dawid's replacement against RJJ

who the fuck arrests a fighter 10 days before the biggest fight of his life?!

They did the same thing to Szpilka when he was supposed to fight on the Gołota Adamek undercard.

Can't say I feel sorry for him, although honestly that is kinda fucked up.

But hey, your sins come back to haunt you. He shoulda flown straight, and this wouldn't have happened. We all sleep in the beds we make for ourselves and are held accountable for our actions and decisions, he is no different.
