Apart from all the aforementioned reasons why it wont happen................... Here's 2 more.
Froch and Bellew have helped each other a lot over the last year or so for their own respective fights and have no doubt become good friends (Highlighted what with Bellew going crazy at Ringside for Froch on Sat night) Both will be with Eddie Hearn by the time Froch would have moved up to 175 (if he ever does, which I doubt) Another shit thread by the biggest wankstain/bottle job on the British Forum

froch in the past has said he has agreed to rematch pascal whenhe holds a belt at 175. a gentlemans agreement. so unless its some catchweight bullshit... i think he will eventually moveup when theres no more good name opponents at 168

Froch seems to have very low body fat so I would think he should have no problems moving up to 175. It's not as if he's looking soft at 168. Get some guiness down him and he'll be alright. He's not overly muscular either, so could bulk up if need be. Not that I think the Bellew fight will happen.

Considering how much Tony Bellew wanks off over Carl Froch, I doubt this fight could happen.
I think Bellew would beat Froch at 175! Too big, too strong, too powerfull. Also Bellews skills are sound enough, Froch is no rubix cube. |

Won't happen. How many people including Froch himself have said he won't move up.
He'll prob fight Kessler next, then Bute in a rematch in Canada. After that which will probably be Autumn 2013 a world title, domestic fight (which is all that's missing from his record) against Groves/Degale win finish his career. In 18 months they'll be ready to at least make it competitive. I think the Pascal ship has sailed. He won't want to travel (off his own back) anymore, he doesn't need to. I don't think he'll ever fight at LHW, which renders Bellew irrelevant to Froch. Imagine his record though: Magee Reid Pascal Taylor Dirrell Abraham Johnson Bute Kessler Bute Groves/Degale He'd be at least slight favourite in all of those matches IMO |
