I used to put most of my stock in the green belt but Suliaman being the guy he is I would say theres more significance in the Ring belt than the WBC now....as long as Goldenboy arent manipulating the ratings.

The majority of the 'world title' belts on offer aren't worth jack shit

What is the worth for example of an interim WBA 'world title' belt, when there's a 'regular' champion and a 'super' champion above it in the same weight division

Have you got a link for this? I keep hearing this but find it hard to believe. The ring title's have only been fought for by #1 v #2 and on a rare occasion #1 v #3

Pacquiao

Flyweight - Lineal / WBC
Super Bantamweight - IBF
Featherweight - Ring
Super Featherweight - WBC / Ring
Lightweight - WBC
Junior Welterweight - Ring (& IBO)
Welterweight - WBO (Won at 145lbs but defended @ 147lbs)
Junior Middleweight - WBC (Won @ 150 lbs)

8 time 8 weight titlist
4 weight Lineal / Ring champion

Featherweight & Junior Welterweight were two of his best championships but there is a huge asterix @ Junior Middleweight.

Mayweather

Super Featherweight - Lineal / WBC (At the same time)
Lightweight - Ring / WBC (At the same time)
Junior Welterweight - WBC
Welterweight - IBF then Ring / WBC then WBC
Junior Middleweight - WBC then WBA

8 time 5 weight titlist
3 weight lineal / Ring champion

NEW CHAMPIONSHIP POLICY
Championship vacancies can be filled in the following two ways:
1. THE RING’s Nos. 1 and 2 contenders fight one another.
2. If the Nos. 1 and 2 contenders choose not to fight one another and either of them fights No. 3, No. 4 or No. 5, the winner may be awarded THE RING belt.

They are going to devalue what the Ring Belt stands for

This. It's as worthless as the other 'titles' now.
