I would guess Mike Perez is being looked at. There's not that much available that would be a step up that's free at that date. If his team could secure a fight with one of the likes of Timur Ibragimov, Boswell, Walker, Leapai, Joe Hanks or Malick Scott that would look decent on paper and would be a useful test.

Audley, Skelton or Sprott wouldn't be that bad either for a domestic dust up if Fury's going to keep himself active. He's still very raw and really doesn't need to be facing the top level yet.

I honestly don't think I have heard of any of those fighters, to the general public none of those names would be inspiring, I think it'll more likely be some lowish ranked British guy so that they don't have to risk bringing in somebody who based on your post seems pretty good (since you said they'd look decent on paper)

I still see fat mick going for sosnoswski. It's an easy sell. Rugged, muscular polish bloke is gonna look good to the casuals and he's fought vitali. He's not a big puncher but is tough and fit enough to get tyson some rounds.
