So not it looks like N'Jikam avoided Pirog also! He won't fight any champion?
Is this a case of the promoter preventing the boxer from taking it to the next step because of risks? Is N'jikam making a lot of money fighting unkowns in France? Why no PR from his camp? WTF is going on with this guy? Does he have any statements made? |

he probably ducked pirog, lets be honest (i dont know all the facts though). either n'dam, or his promoters, are a disgrace to boxing. he/they is/are shamelessly ducking all and sundry!
![]() i hope he never gets a proper world title fight, and loses to some nobody fighting in france.

I don't think you could really say N'Jikam is ducking Pirog, he took the fight with Bursak and then tried to have the Pirog fight in France. I was actually looking forward to Pirog-N'Jikam, Hassan is still considered an excellent fighter despite some disappointing performances with Khurtsidze and Lorenzo and the whole avoiding GGG.

pirog himself talked about his lack of desire to fight in france, due to the potential for a robbery, and n'dam's complete absence of any willingness to travel.
he was apparently doubtful from the start, as to the chances of this fight being made. id rather see pirog vs golovkin though, any day of the week. n'dam can carry on fighting bums in france, whilst his contemporaries gain reknown in tough fights. he had his chance. |

What about that generous offer Hassan made to Pirog for that fight in Guinea Bissau or Equatorial Guinea or wherever?
Why do they not just settle and fight in Papua New Guinea??? |

this is how it should be though. such shameless ducking of opponents is killing the sport. to eradicate it entirely, witch hunts akin to this one (n'dam) should continue.
![]() that way, we can look forward to more fights like GGG vs pirog, or froch vs bute etc etc the best should fight the best.

-Pirog's mandatory is due June 25th
-Pirog and N'jikam in talks for a fight April 6th although nothing signed when Pirog injures his left shoulder. -Pirog wants to hold the fight May 1st instead which is less than a month later and almost 2 months before his mandatory is due. - Out of nowhere N'jikam signs to fight Maksym Bursak. It's obvious that they must have secretly been in talks the entire time since no one puts together a fight in 2 or 3 days. - WBO says N'jikam-Bursak to be for the WBO interm belt. A Interm belt is supposed to be issued when a Champion is unable to fulfill their mandatory obligation due to injury. Pirog's May 1st fight proposal would have fulfilled that obligation two months early. - Ni'jikam fought Bursak May 4th, Pirog fought replacement Ishida May 1st on the date he had wanted to fight N'jikam originally. It had nothing to do with N'jikam not wanting to wait the 3 additional weeks after Pirog injured his shoulder as he acutally fought after the May 1st date Pirog wanted. - WBO says that the winner will be Pirog's mandatory and that he must face them within 120 days which would be in September. This is what runied his Unification with Geale in spite of the fact that Unifications are supposed to superceed mandatories. Even more absurd when you consider how Pirog was willing to face his mandatory but N'jikam ducked the fight. So if Pirog vs Golovkin happens Aug 25 then Pirog will probably be stripped and the WBO belt handed to N'jikam and his dream of getting a belt for doing absolutely nothing after ducking everybody will come true. He is a utter ****ing disgrace to the sport. |

After dropping his interim wba belt for the 3rd purse bid no show against regular champ GG, in feb HNN offers Pirog a fight in Equatorial Guinea for april Pirog "injured", will be ready may 1 to fight HNN or mandatory (not appointed yet) HNN can't wait, stadium booked in Guinea. wbo sanctions Bursak for interim belt, too much procrastinating from Pirog Pirog fights on May 1, HNN wins interim belt on May 4, in FRANCE WBO: this interim champ is hungry and overdue, Pirog fight him in 3 months or get stripped |

HNN can't wait because he has the stadium booked in Guinea - HNN is a challenger so he doesn't dictate location - HNN was forced to go after another opponent because the arena in Guinea was booked.....yet he fought in France - He couldn't wait....yet Pirog fought his replacement Ishida 3 days before HNN fought Bursak Thanks for reinforcing my points on HNN having ducked Pirog. |
