old thread but relevent of sorts.

i always thought that he had just left the tough harsh world of the boxing prison system to an easier softer pro boxing scene...just to find that good technical skills and solid conditioning do not make you a winner.

goes a year and a half out dealing. has a moment of clarity knows he is going back into prison one day. and gets back in the gym and racks off multiple wins before meeting with everyones favouite athlete in jones.

the fight might not mean much to him now...but i think it did back then.
