Default Great Bantamweight-Super Bantamwight fights of the 1990s and 2000s

Of course we all know the great fights Barrera, Pacquiao, Morales and Marquez got into at 126. But how aboout Bantam and Super Bantam? What great fights in these divisions where there in this time period?

And don't forget, the First Morales Barrera fight was at 122, for the WBC and WBO super bantamweight titles.

One of the best fights I've ever seen in that time period. And one of the best fights in boxing ever!

122lbs seems to be, for whatever reason, the exact weight where badass action fighters can most frequently fight other, equally badass action fighters. Ridiculous amount of great fights for such a relatively young division.

The super bantam era in the 90's was a good time: Barrera, Jones, Bungu, Ncita, McKinney, Ledwaba etc. Barrera aside, none of them were great fighters but it was an underrated era that produced a few belters, maybe because most of the participants were in the talented-but-vulnerable bracket.

As an underrated/forgotten mini-classic in terms of the technical exchanges, I'd tell anyone to watch Chuvatana-Sahaprom. Some ungodly boxing in that one. The Sahaprom-Nishioka series from a few years later is a good reference point too, and another very-talented-but-vulnerable type in recent years would be the excellent Hasegawa.

I just uploaded Chuvatana-Sahaprom in one piece to YouTube

Brilliant fight that, between two technical offensive fighters.
