i just remembered an interview i read shortly after Mosley beat Margo.
Nazim was asked about other trainers and instead of discrediting them like other trainers would do he gave real honest answers. when the interviewer asked him to compare himself to Roach he said he thinks Roach is a great coach and that what he has done with Manny Pac, he(nazim) probably would not have been able to do the same, he said he is different type of trainer than Roach, he is more of a tactician and works with what he's got, while Roach tries to improve weaknesses, nazim tries using the fighters strength to a greater advantage. when asked about Floyd sr he said he respects him very much and that Sr is a very good technical coach, he has met Floyd many times and Floyd gave advice and tips to Nazims fighters which are always spot on. Unlike the idiot John David Jackson, Nazim was being real, jackson tried discrediting everyone even Nazim himself, who he is supposed to be friends with. anyways, anyone know the interview i'm talking about? |

I think I saw that interview, or at least a very good one by Nazim Richardson. I know that I posted a comment about it in a thread that had the video in, so if you want to find it you might be able to ny using the search button and just looking for 'Nazim' in posts by me.

I would want him in my corner if I had to fight. Professional, calm, keeps your mind on your business and keeps you from getting over-excited or overly discouraged. He's also probably real enough to throw in the towel for you when he knows there's no hope.
