I think the used by date on Hodges is almost up aswell but unfortunately the Maroons dont have gun centre to replace him. I watched the 2002 SOO the other day and started comparing the versions of Tahu & Hodges both who were on the wing. Tahu was a beast and fast as fuck while Hodges was just meh.
The golden era is slowly falling apart. Lockyer gone, Petero gone after this season, while Stuart has got NSW to improve and get closer back to the fold.

I really hope Stuart doesnt coach at club level next season, because while it might not happen this series, he's on the brink of getting a series win for us, and deserved to be involved when that happens.

I dont think Petero should have played this series.

NSW have alot more depth than Qld especially in the backs and once that break through series win happens they will probably hold onto it for a few seasons.

Stuart doesnt deserve anything more than a few lemons to suck on

Stuart has got NSW back on track, and the Stuart/Mal rivalry has brought origin to an all time high. You need a stand alone coach for origin. Mal proved that, Stuart's proving it with NSW, and if you look back to when NSW last had their good run, it was when Gould was a stand alone coach.

how about farahs 64 tackles....unbelieveable....wow. considering NSW had the ball half the game, (40 minutes) making 64 tackles (in one half effectively) translates to 64 tackles in 40 minutes of the opposition having the ball. more than one per minute, or one every 40 seconds.

it is un fucken believeable!!

I loved the one where Hodges was in a standing tackle for about 10 seconds then was allowed to offload.

Would have been crudely offensive if we lost, but I will let these slide.

Game 3 in Suncorp, expect some fucking rediculous calls.

I have a feeling the sharks are on a downward spiral. Might be wrong but I just see some cracks starting to form

Without Gallen, theyre doing ok I think.
Their position earlier on in the season (2nd-4th probably flattered them a bit. I reckon they're still a decent shout to sneak into the 8 come seasons end.

Wait a minute. They've scored are 5 behind and Carney's kicked a 40-20. And Robson has just scored.

Robson just got a 5 meter double. Kicking for the lead now with l;ess than 10 to go.

Robson has been great this season. People say that Carney has been carrying him, but I cant disagree more. He's been very good and is more than a handy half.
