Default Simon Brown vs. Carlos Palomino

The Terry Norris conqueror vs. the college graduate. Both in their primes, who wins?

In his 'prime' Simon Brown was a 'super' version of Andy Price, but with more power.

Simon by a solid 15-Round Decision, 10-5-0 in Rounds.

Carlos would just give away too many early rounds.

Depends on which Brown shows up. Brown could box very well when well prepared... or at least deal with very good boxers quite well.

Brown was strong, durable, and had good power. He won world titles at 147 and 154. he even challenged Bernard Hopkins at 160 when he was well past prime.

He lost a split-decision to Marlon Starling prior to winning his first world title. He knocked out kevin Howard in 7. he knocked out Tyrone Trice in 14 and then again, KO10. He stopped Jorge vaca in 3. He stopped good friend Maurice Blocker in 10. He stopped Terry Norris in 4. He outworked Glenwood Brown as well. Could he beat Palomino?

Close fight. I think I like Carlos Palomino to outscore him, but it would be one of those quantity (Palomino) vs. quality (Brown) kind of fights that could polarise scorers.

Thank you...(this)..Palomino was just outright a better fighter and would have stopped Brown within 10 rounds.

He never stopped anyone nearly as good as Brown within ten.

it took him over that to do away with Boy Green(in a neck and neck fight imo) and Stracey. Most of his KO's against anyone half decent were late accumulation stoppages.

I think this is a very competitive great fight, though i do favour Palomino to be more durable and stronger over 15.Probably pulls away over the last 3 or 4.

Palomino had more refined skills, better ring generalship and more consistent performance. Brown is a dangerous opponent with skills that came and went and decided power. I am taking Palomino to win this on UD over 15.
