i will hit you with a right upper cut & tell you ,,how i got the power, how i made the opening to get contact to target & what you did wrong in your defense

so unless you are professional and pay for most of the coach's time,,you will have to take the advise as & when you get it

20%/30% is from the coach ,,,,,70%/80% is from the student on improving you boxing skills

well if you are a hard working coach then thats great
but as far as sparring
you would not get past my jab

"yes a student should beg for advice" lol

One of their boxers had paid something like £2000 for training for a white collar bout, then he was to sell tickets for £45 each and box for free. He came to me 7 days before his fight and had being training 3 times a week for 16 weeks. I swear hand on heart that I have lads who are more technically accomplished then he was after 1 hour.

Greed disgusts me- its the worse trait in humans and the root of all evil. Think about it.

this white collar boxing thing was also done here in toronto,
its a huge cash grab, in fact they were charging 100 a ticket for the "boxing"show
and the training was exactly like you mentioned

but people are usually attracted to BS and will pay to see it
or be in it

If he's a lazy coach then that's a different issue to the fact he isn't in shape. Worked with plenty of good coaches who are in bad shape and some of the most horrendous advice I've heard being given in gyms is from in shape people.
