Just saying it how it is, You don't need to be a fan of Golovkin to see he is a beast, If you asked 100 people on this board that have actually seen both fighters fight who would win out of Golovkin and Geale, You would be hard pressed to find 10 that would say Geale...

source ' Scene"

Gennady Golovkin is looking for a new opponent after Pirog withdrew from their scheduled 25th August bout with a back injury.
Peter Quillan is said to have turned down the fight.
Rubio and Macklin possible replacements.

Why not Rubio ?
At 32 yrs of age he has a very tidy career record of 54-6-1.
He always seems to be fit and available. Not quite elite but his style makes him a real handful for some fighters as Canadian banger David Lemieux discovered.
On 4-2-12 he fought Chavez Jr for his WBC Middle title, losing on points.
I would have backed him against Mundine. Choc would have avoided him like the plague.

Rubio has a skin condition, dermaticulitus (badly mis-spelt) or something along those lines. Something to do with the pigmentation of his skin. I always felt for the guy and how hard it would have been growing up.
