Such a pity not more footage is available. I read he fought the odd heavyweight as well - and beat them. Pretty remarkable.

Not at all, thanks for asking, i'll gab about Burley all day.

He did indeed fight - and stop - a couple of heayweights. There's a story, confirmed, about him dropping Elmar Ray in sparring, and another, very much unconfirmed, that he did the same to Walcott.

Archie Moore versus Ike Williams? I hate to say it, but Williams would be butchered. A closer fight between favourites of mine would be Ike Williams against Jose Napoles at 140lbs.
