Default Danny Garcia now saying he 'participated' in stopping the fight.

Also 'backdated' the jaw injury to the '5th or 6th round'.

What is it about people in boxing and the friggin truth anyhow? We all saw Ortiz get up and go around Garcia to stop the fight and say his corner wanted him to go on. Victor was a little confused when asked about when the jaw injury happened so I won't say too much about that.

In the rbr last night somebody posted that Oriz was whispering to Garcia around that time, thinking he broke his hand. I didn't catch it, but that guy deserves some props if that was the broken jaw conversation.

I just watched the fight but I don't remember what round that was and you can't really hear. The guy with the mic moves it closer but you don't hear what is said. This came up after I watched it so I didn't pay that close attention. I'm sure the crew in the truck probably did their best to decipher if there was anything audible.

Also, in his tirade to defend Ortiz, Schaeffer goes off on the corner and their responsibility to protect their fighter. I wonder if Danny is feeling some heat?

I thought he was trying to quit earlier and they told him he had to keep going. His shit got cracked in the ninth and Ortiz reacted to it immediately. I don't buy any of that shit.

danny garcia is not a good trainer. he should have corrected victors bad habit of throwing punches with his mouth open in the gym. that is an amateur mistake. also...victors defense is non-existant.

Well, we know it was Victor that stood up and asked the ref to stop it. He was pretty clear the corner wanted him to go on. I'm just not holding him to the answer he gave as to 'when' based on the post fight interview.

Yeah, I really am in no position to judge trainers but damned, I can tell a guy with Victor's level of athleticism shouldn't be getting his as much and clean as he does. Especially given that the 'book' on him is that he doesn't like to get hit and that is how you beat him.
