Szpilka is calling out Adamek. Says he will fight him any time. He also said Adamek has been very boring and not progressing as a fighter, ever since he left Gmitruk. Szpilka said this in response to Adamek saying that Szpilka should train more and talk less, after Szpilka commented on the Adamek-Chambers fight.

![]() would be a big money-earner if it happened in Poland, but from what I gather, Adamek has no intentions of fighting a young up-and comer like Szpilka |

HUGE news.
should these sources continue, id say this topic needs its own thread... ![]() is there a better option out there for adamek at the moment (if the rumours that povetkin wont fight him are true)? i think not... |

true, but who else is out there for him? he needs another fight before taking on wlad (as i would assume vitali will be retired), who out there would take the adamek fight (as most of the other top 10 seem content to fight bums until the klits retire)?

Adamek is kidding himself with fighting Wlad, he himself knows he has no chance of winning, and a certain KO loss on his record

maybe he's hoping to fight for the WBC belt once Vitali retires, but when that happens it'll be like a pack of wolfs at a rib-roast, everyone will want to win that belt before Wlad takes it
Adamek should stay well away from Wlad for his own good, and I'm saying this a an Adamek fan |

Here's the thing. I could picture Adamek actually fighting Szpilka in a passing of the torch kind of fight, when all his other options are exhausted and only one lucrative fight remains, as both fighters have huge following...exactly what happened with Golota. I think this could happen after the Povetkin fight, should Sasha grow a pair and fight Adamek. |

I realize this sounds outragous considering the lack of evidence in Szpilka's journeyman opposition but i would favor Szpilka to stop Tomasz if they fought eachother next. Tomasz won't have a speed advantage, Szpilka if he commits to it has a better defense but even if he doesn't Adamek isn't a puncher and Artur could probably hurt Tomasz. Adamek seems to be getting worse under the incompetant Bloodworth and his "bulk up so you'll punch harder" genius logic. |

Szpila and McCline face-off look at 0:22, I think RJJ wants to fight Szpila and McCline rather than Głażewski
