Only roided glass jawed suburban pink panty wearing with nuts on their faces white boys rolling on the ground like homosexuals will hate on a legend like B-Hop giving advice.

Also rolling the head so far forward isn't good, "in the pocket."
Get destroyed by thai clinch and knees. His movement and telling him how to strike without setting, and the footwork on the counters is pure slick. Some other interesting things he has shown is how to get your opponent off balance not only with punches but the dirtier side of ring generalship. If Hopkins practiced MMA he would be able to come up with his own incredible technique, he is one of those guys that has a mind for fighting, he really seems to be one of those guys who understands how to appreciate it as a whole and how to apply it. He will likely end up just training boxers, but damn he has textbook understanding of things and knows how to communicate the ideas. |

Go to an MMA gym with a good Muay Thai trainer, show him the shoulder roll in the pocket, and ask him what the counters are to the shoulder roll, head forward in the pocket. I'm pretty sure he will instruct you to step in and try a thai plum, or do something that has to do with a right hand feint, and a flying knee or just a knee to the grill.
Just saying, it's MMA and there are more counters and appendages to look out for. If Bhop sat and thought about it, he would say the same thing. Last edited by Koa; 07-03-2012 at 06:30 PM. |

I think Bhop was just talking about stand up boxing to be honest and not close in fighting where you are being held. |
