Thanks fella, I can actually remember posting this too
Yes it was a great card all round that fight was the icing on the cake. A war of attrition if ever I saw one |

Definitely one of them. That was probably the fight that highlighted the gulf between MMA striking, in which Igor was one of the most exciting in PRIDE at the time, and K1.
I watched 16 last night aswell, and Semmy in MMA is kinda like the reverse Stefan Struve |

Matt Hughes vs Marcelo Aguiar
Takedown by Hughes in the first minute. Aguiar is game, making things hard to Hughes when he tries to do a gnp. Bit by bit Hughes starts to land his punches in the gnp, and Aguiar is without action against the cage. Aguiar is badly cut now, and without space to do nothing. Hughes is relentless!! The round 1 is over.......And then the fight is stopped because of the cut. Great performance by Hughes. |

I watched Shammy v Frye last night
It was close, but personally I thought it went the wrong way (like Don's ankle in the 1st) They both had that double leg lock going at the end and Don dropped Ken with a sweet shot. But I think that's the only thing you could score that fight for Frye on. Ken got the better of the striking exchanges in the clinch, and was close to ripping off Fryes leg in the 1st. You have to credit Frye for not tapping but the scoring has to go to Ken imo But this is one of those fights if I watch it again I could score it for Frye |

You mean the Michael Jordan of BJJ
This will make you happy Vic Watching Sperry v Ninja, great great fight, Ninja was in trouble with a few deep sub attempts but took home the W against probably, along with Mezger, one of the most underrated MMA fighters of the rea |

I was surprised to see how in shape he was (this was only 1 year ago), and he spoke a bit about the place.....I didnīt ask nothing about MMA to him, but he was like the most regular person you would ever meet, and gave a pat on the back of my friend when he was leaving like if he was one more person in the crowd...... Shame that so few people recognized him...Thatīs the problem with many of the new MMA fans here, they donīt know the fighters pre-2011

Yeah, Ninja was really a staple of the PRIDE shows before Shogun turned up. Glad you got to meet him though, mustve been a real treat. I was marking out when I shook Wandy's hand
