In need of a new head-guard for sparring r, not to sure whether to get a full face or an open face head-guard. I know the full face head-guards have less vision ad the open have have less protection just not sure wat to go for! Tried a full face on at my gym and couldn't see anywhere near as good as a open face head guard.
I have been looking at the Top Ten head-guards made of bay-flex, either looking to get an open face one or one with cheek protectors but am worried that the cheek protectors will obstruct my vision. i have no way of trying these on as im ordering online so any help with my will be appreciated Open Face [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] With Cheek Protectors [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Thanks |

Cheek protectors shouldn't obstruct your visions much as full face. I doubt you'll be looking down when boxing. But that being said I feel most comfortable I n open face , even though it means I feel impact of punches more. It kinda keeps me in my toes
I think the top tens are great if they can fit your head . People usually love it or hate it. Head down the store in Essex to try for yourself. Might as well since you're investing and might be stuck with ur choice for a long time |
