Default Should Sky show their fights on Sky One

Sky should go down the HBO route and show all fights on Sky One. They could charge shitloads for advertising, as the viewing figures would increase by hundreds of thousands. Pretty much everyone has Sky One, just like in the states everyone has HBO. Advertising always beats subscriptions as a business model.

Showing fights on Sky 1, is the way forward for boxing. Especially after the Summer Olympics, I expect British Boxing to be on the high.

They should show 2 PPV's per year on Sky Box Office, which is justifiable, when you show fights on Sky One. Maybe one non british fight for example say Pacquiou v Marquez 4, or Khan vs Brook.

Sky are the largest advertiser in the UK,,,,,^^that is the way forward..your thoughts?

$16 dollars for 11 premium channels. You Americans complain about everything, when we pay £24 just for the basic pay channels on sky, which doesn't include and sports apart from cycling and tennis.

Get yourself box nation. You won't look back. All for the price of a pint of lager a week

Boxnation's upcoming schedule looks real nice at the moment, I'm enjoying it. I wish them every success.

I have to drink tap water whilst watching the fights, to offset the pint I can't afford every week now, but you can't have everything.

'If' that model had any chance of success, Sky would never choose boxing as the sport to go with. Sky One's existing audience skews female so sticking what's perceived as one of the most male, aggressive and working class sports on that channel would go down like a shit sandwich.
