Default Should Haye go back down to CW to look for a title fight?

With Haye saying he's only going to fight again if it's a title bout but of course we've already got Vitali and Povetkin tied up with defences already and needless to say a rematch with Wladimir would be pointless so why not go back down to CW? He would make the weight comfortably even next week if he wanted too. Against Chisora he was only just above the CW limit anyway, dehydrating down would be easy.

Makes sense money wise. The British public would have no reason not to get behind Haye in his quest to reclaim his former crown and not to mention there is plenty of tasty fights to be had there. Haye vs Huck would be a huge fight in Europe against two men with an almost identical style. I'd certainly watch that.

No need, he proved everything he needed to at cruiserweight, there are much bigger fights to be had at heavyweight. He doesn't need the money and there is more money in the heavyweights anyway.

I'd like to see Haye knockout Povetkin if he doesn't fight Vitali just to give him another solid win at Heavyweight, but hopefully he gets the Vitali fight, a fight in which I think he'd be favourite.

He's only weighing in at 209, he could easily make CW.

And in all honesty, he could make the CW division massive. His return will spark interest, and could possible raise the profile of every other top elite fighter in the CW game.

It was David Haye put heavyweight boxing back into the mainstream, and he could also do the same for CW.

"The CW division should get attention, they are big guys who are always most of the time in good condition, aesthetically it looks like a great division"

But it is just ignored by the discriminative boxing community....

Even when David Haye was at CW, even then i was interested in the division. And it seem like a more exiting division....

Been there done that, he is still prime and its a shame he is putting all his eggs in one basket with Vitali.
I can't see Vitali fighting him so he might as well enjoy the money and get on with his life.

Who are they top 5 money spinners in Europe? I think it's something like this.

1. W.Klitschko
2. V. Klitschko
3. Haye
4. Khan
5. Huck

Well if he can't get the first two surely it makes sense to target Huck. Both men would be fighting within their own time zones so it's a crossover of huge money where they both bring it massive amounts each. On paper it would actually be a fan friendly match up too where a KO is almost a given. Not to mention it would have a World title on the line. What's not to like?
