Faerun putting words in my mouth again....gee that never happens.

Remember that time you said you would suck a black dick to prove how un-racist you are?

Good shot from Proksa to finish the fight, although if I was the ref I wouldn't have stopped it. He was hurt but not out on his feet when he got up, and I think the bell would have sounded in time to save him.

I know you don't take the bell into account as a ref, but the point is that he was not staggering or eyes gone. He would have been finished off in the next round anyway, especially as Proksa would step up the aggression and know he could end it.

Proksa looked decent, fairly fluid and not overly anxious despite obviously wanting to impress in the rematch. But he did get caught with the jab a bit still which is what makes the prospect of a Barker fight interesting as Barker uses the jab well.

Exactly

Yeah, I noticed. Rather sad

guess the talk of the barker fight is all but mute now.

keeping an eye on the golovkin situation though. very curious, though, as to why the pirog fight was called off?

also, my ethnicity was questioned on another thread

Pirog is injured apparently

I read here:

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

that Lara is even being considered an option for Golovkin

that would be a good fight, 2 hard hitting prospects fighting each other

also, it would probably be at a catchweight, because I doubt Lara would go all the way up to 160

Saw that

Yeah, Pirog is apparently injured.

Golovkin - Proksa: Well, im one of the GGG fanatics, and I see him destroy yet another maxilla

Maybe now we finally get Barker - Macklin? They were scheduled to fight each other almost two years ago, but Barker got injured.

i like GGG, but im very curious to see him in there with someone like proksa. although im moving towards GGG, i wouldnt bet against proksa just yet.

as for barker-macklin, seems to make total sense. with the winner getting a shot at one of the champions that are knocking about.

as per the proksa website, it appears the fight with golovkin is reaching the advanced stages of negotiations.

this is the wrong time for Super G to face anyone, let alone Golovkin

but ok, he says he'd jump on any opportunity to fight for a world title and he got it, I just hope that he and his promoter know what they're doing

yeah, totally agree.

i do worry that its a case of the blind leading the blind, in terms of proksa and his opponent. on the other hand, this might be the making of proksa, you never know (optimism)...
