Interesting one and a real 50-50 in my eyes. Can't see how Ali can stop Ike and he certainly shouldn't employ the rope a dope tactics, because Ike will just keep throwing. Although Ali has a lot less spring in his step compared to younger versions, he still has the speed and boxing skills, equipped with his mental strength to outbox Ike and if any man could deal with the pressure Ike would put on him, it is Ali.
Ali decision by 2 or 3 rounds in a 12 or 15 rounder whilst being rocked a few times. |

Unless Sandy Saddler is in Ibeabuchi's corner , I think that not even loose ropes and heat will stop d African native whom warred Tua 4 almost every minute of 12 rds and stopped Byrd due 2 a punch landed while Byrd on d ropes from stopping Ali .

Ike on his best night had trouble with guys that boxed and moved. Now he would be facing argueably the best heavyweight ever at boxing and moving. Ike would look stupid in this one and lose one sided.
Ike wasnt near the finished product, but he had a great style for his era of boxing and would have come on to be a dominant force because of his style. He was big strong and quick and could fight well. |

Even wrestling Ibeabuchi (unless Ike drank Sandy Saddler's magic potion) might have been a foolish thing 2 try . |

He was still green in the boxing department and he was still learning how to deal with boxers with footwork and outside skills, but he did a number on Chris Byrd, which showed his uncanny speed for a big man, and his fight with Tua showed his heart, chin and will to win. Ike had what it took to be great physically and mentally in the ring, he just didnt have what it took to be successful outside of it. You have to almost be crazy to be a heavyweight prizefighter, but Ike was just a little too crazy.. |

Ike had a good chin, big, strong guy, lots of stamina.
This fight would be very tough for Ali, HOWEVER i did notice some cracks in Ikes invincibility, he seemed very frustrated against Byrd, u can tell the look on his face after one of the rounds. The longer this fight goes on, the more i feel Ike may do something crazy. Yes i know he went the distance with Tua, but Tua stood in front of him, something Ali wont do. Its a 50/50 fight, but i see Ike losing his sanity somewhere in the later rounds, on top of that, you also have to take into consideration Alis mindgames. |
