If Khan chose to use a jab, jab straight, jab jab straight then move fighting style, would Hatton have the legs to even get close to him?

Thats in Khans ideal world though. Hed get sloppy after poking Hatton for 5 rounds and probably get caught with something the plonker

if hatton with head movement and jab coming in turns up... he makes it a long night for khan. as long as fight doesnt end on cuts, i could see a prime hatton hurt khan both to body and head.

khan only wins by catching hatton cold and only maintains distance if he learns better footwork than he currently has

Unbelievable. You would struggle to find a more textbook, perfectly placed body shot that every single pro, commentator and observer remarked on, and that left him with 4 broken ribs and you found it suspect.

Beautiful shot. I have that as one of Hatton's true high points, brilliant night.

What about Hattons slip followed by a counter hook/uppercut, followed by a body shot onslaught

Imagine Khan, who can't keep Peterson or Garcia off him trying
to keep Hatton off him. If he could punch he would have a chance
against anyone, despite his chin. But he can't punch for ****.

For someone who can't fight inside, fighting Hatton would be a bad choice for an opponent

I think that a lot of the Hatton praise is due to Khan's loss against Garcia, but despite that you still have to go for Hatton just because stylistically he is all wrong for Khan.

Not a fight, but, I think Ricky Hatton might be a possibility to train Amir, he is looking for a new trainer I think. Hatton and Khan are friends, Khan wants to be in the UK more as he gets homesick, so it may be an option for him. Enzo Macarenelli is also being mooted as Khan's new trainer.

20 year old Khan was pretty good too as I recall - Olympic silver, Commonwealth champ and was knocking out far better fighters than Tommy Pea**** (Earl, Limond etc.)
