In many ways, that level of composure is almost reminiscent of Joe Louis.

All that reveals is the low intellectual quality of the posters on this place, and that is all too obvious.

Liston- Resnick- Saddler. If such a link existed, Ali was the perpetual beneficiary of it.

Was Elijah Muhammad or Farrakhan connected to the mob?

The Black Muslims - mainly recruited in prisons - had all sorts of underworld connections. For instance, on a wrestling forum (surprisingly intelligent compared to these boxing forums) an insider in the business told the inside story of Clay-Ali's fight with the Japanese wrestler Antonio Inoki, the fight being billed as legitimate wrestler-boxer "shoot". He said that Inoki was so good that Clay wouldn't have lasted a minute, but what happened was the Black Muslims made a deal with the Yakuza before the fight, something about Inoki better be on his back in round one, something like that. Inoki followed the orders, but, staying within the rules of the fight, stayed on his back and kicked at Clay's legs, so the whole thing turned into a travesty, and caused permanent injury to Clay's legs - phlebitis - in the bargain.

There was another wrestler-boxer fight that same night, Andre the Giant (who was not a nice man) vs. New Jersey's Chuck Wepner. Andre seriously tried to seriously injure the much smaller Wepner. he head butted him as hard as he could with his gigantic head and then picked him up and threw him out of the ring, and all this was without the usual pre-scripted wrasslin safety moves.

At least half of Clay-Ali's so-called wins were fixed one way or another.

Here is his fight with Jimmy Young. Young won the fight. Listen to the overwhelming boos from the crowd at the end after the phony decision in favor of Ali! Also note the elation in Jimmy Young's corner and the sadness in Clay's corner before the phony decision.

1) IDK d temperatures and conditions in d Peralta fights , do u ?
2) D Young fight was in San Juan , in a very hott day .
3) Suppose Peralta and even Young were good , does it mean Ali was 2 ?
4) Suppose whatever u want , does it take away from all d facts mentioned about d 1974 Zaire fight ?
does Ali's stylistic resemblance 2 Young and/or Peralta or whatever u wanted 2 prove turn d truths in2 lies and make it ignore worthy ?

5) this 1's 4 Stevie G. and Ali_ , don't bother 2 reply , this is a question 4 some1 who is worth d bother and whose reply interests me , unlike u2 .

Distinct possibility,Bleeder. The thought of a fix is certainly eccentric enough for it to be so.

To add to the conspiracy....

Foreman had paid the ref a substancial amount of money to ignore his 'pushing' which some referees saw as illegals and others did not.

After paying him the ref remarked that 'this was nothing - you should have seen home much muhammad's camp gave me.'

Gave him for what? Foreman never found out.

Was it to allow him to lie on the ropes? Or was it for a quicker count? Foreman always claimed he never heard a nine. He was up at 8 and the ref waved it off as 10.

Probably a load of BS though.
