Like most,I see the likes of Charles,Moore,Tunney, and Greb beating him. I can't make up my mind about Bob and Spinks.

Aw, **** on Spinks. Too many on board here IMO overrate him.
You can talk all you want about the 80's crop of LH's but they just don't resonate with me.
>Some of his 'name' wins were against fighters that had already been thru their share of wars.
>and?....Eddie Gregory was clearly the better fighter! Michael beats the drained shriveled pear, Eddie's head demons send him down the river and Mike, as champ, feasts on a less then sterling crop of contenders, beats a lethargic old Holmes, and has nut-huggers calling him perhaps the greatest LH of all time.
My $0.02

But he is a top ten ATG LHeavy.

Agreed. Jones would either be crushed or run all night while eating jabs.

Foster was definitely top ten material. I don't see him going past Tunney, Loughran, Ezz, Archie or Conn though.

I like Harold Johnson's chances against Bob too. Johnson was good at picking jabs, had a beautiful one himself, plus a good right that he rarely missed in an opening. I wouldn't count Bob out though. Harold could be stopped by a good one (like against Oakland Billy Smith, for example) and Foster had plenty of good ones.

Spinks slickness could cause big trouble for Bob but I don't know if I'd necessarily favor him.

It'd be interesting to see how Bob would do against Tommy Gibbons. Gibbons could be incredibly frustrating, but he prefered to neutralize the guy in close. I don't know if he could get by Foster's long and and accurate jab.

Spinks has the best chance.

The consensus is that Charles is the greatest LHW ever.

H2H he belongs in the top 5-8. He's a monster. I think he could potentially beat anyone at the weight, but there's guys that are just as good and hold stylistic advantages.
That might be the concensus , but I'm none to sure he gets past Tunney , Langford,or Greb.

Maske has the style to defuse him, control distance, pace and the verdict.

Charles and Spinks

Moore, Tunney, Jones, and a few others would have a good chance as well.

I assume, regarding the earlier poll, Seamus that you were the lone sane person who voted for Henry.

Foster fighting 35 year old Jones would win maybe.
