I'm also seriously considering this option, Ive currently got sky sports and boxnation but sky have made it clear no more weekly small hall shows just the less frequent big arena show (seems to be the way hearn is going all glitz not bothered about the bread and butter fights/shows), I'll go to Froch and the others i could just watch in the pub
Haha good response, their is a sense of humour on this message board. I also like small hall shows (loved the likes of Power v Munyai and McDonnell v Jamoye), but they don't drag on the casual fan sadly.

Viewing figures are the name of the game, and ****** may even find out this to his cost. Sky is still the best place for boxing. Would wait to see what happen re fight content before you make a decision.

Sky Sports is vastly overpriced. I refuse to subsidise outrageous EPL salaries and the rest.

Personally, it would piss me off paying so much money knowing that it was mostly going to football.

But Sky will no doubt be showing at least some of the big fights...

Sky will always back Matchroom with there sports they promote. So you will see more Matchroom cards in the coming year. Do they have enough boxers on there cards at the moment they could do with 2 to 4 more boxers on there books.

Also I would expect Sky to keep Hatton and Maloney and give them a couple of cards a year. The last Hatton Card will be what they would expect more from Ricky and I think they would want to show a rematch of Munroe v Quigg then it could bring a fight with Frampton later in the year.

Hell no. They've pretty much dumped it. Hearn and Khan's own deal is all they've got running (that's nothing). I certainly wouldn't. Even BoxNation is becoming bull with the amount they're putting out nowadays.

No it's shit and would have gone under much sooner but for Hayemaker keeping them afloat during the last few years before retiring. Is it a coincidence that Sky have lost all their stars since Hayemaker has gone? No.
