My guess is 50 and MM will be consulting with Don King soon.

I wish them and the sport by proxy well. Stacked cards can't be anything but good.

I do wish though someone would back off and just make us a stacked bi-weekly network show. Get Boxing back out to the masses. The people who need to see Boxing are people WITHOUT HBO.

I'd say, if they cant manage their own families, they cant manage boxing but I'd give them a try and it'll be interesting to see how HBO responds

Very ambitious from 50 but as somebody already said, Oscar had the same ambitions. It's just too expensive to put on "five" main events the way they are thinking. Real business won't allow them to do this when all is said and they are doing.

Right now, 50 being a promoter is a gimmick move until he proves he can produce substance.

This is how all this will turn out: The money team vs Top Rank vs GBP and vice versa. Not good for boxing.

who else was on that card, I remember there was like 5 title fights ??

On the other hand, Ellerbe or possibly Hayman are probably the real brains behind team Mayweather so 50 cents is all about the drawing power. Oscar's brainpower is Scheaffer while Bernard and Shane were supposed to help draw in fighters and creds.

Exactly. This is just going to be another hurdle in the way of getting the fights made we want to see, FFS.

50 is already beefing with Oscar.. how exactly is that going to help matters at all?

Boxing in the hands of a few is not good..the more competition between promoters the better...

We aren't getting the fights we want with Top Rank and GBP....the more the merrier..

Until there is a better frame work nothing is going to change boxing. Everyone who has tried has failed. Until the ABCs are no more boxing will never change.

It's going to be an uphill battle at first for TMT. They will likley have to do cross promotional shows, with their this CV of fighters (so far). LEts hope they don't burn any bridges, or act like they are in charge and turn away possible partners.

Gonna take more then Floyd anf Fiddy to do this. Do they have a CEO? DO they have a matchmaker? Do they have someone to handle PR? They can bring in business connections from Fiddy, but they need someone who knows the ins and outs of the buisness behild boxing. IF they try to just wing it, they'll fail badly.
