go to pp78-80 for the specific rules to scoring/tallies

points are tallied two ways now; similar score & trimmed means. it's all in the rule book.

pp70-71 for the playing field and observing j1-j5 around the ring. the two judges (j3, j4) are always to the right of the blue corner.

when you watch aiba videos from the trials you'll see the score between rounds from each judge (match the score with the judge around the ring). what they've been showing us on american tv is the points for the round and not the individual judges' score + round total, so we're not able to see what each judge scored.
