Just finished watching Banke and Zaragoza's bloodfest. It was a crazy battle in general. A lot of eb and flow.

This may be the best fight between southpaws that I've seen as well.

Great shout on this TBooze.

Nothing a cutman could do there im guessing.

That's why Biggs just had to go out there and stop him.

Truth is, Biggs was lucky it wasn't stopped. They were building him up to fight Tyson - in fact, this fight happened on March 7th 1987 and he was being lined up to fight Tyson on May 30th. He ended up fighting Tyson in October instead, 'cos his cut needed to heal (it never really did heal properly, he was prone to cut every fight after that).

If it was Bey who had the cut like that they would have stopped it straight away.
Biggs was the big prospect and was given every chance here to pull out the win.

Although not a bloodfest, as it was stopped immediately, remember the cut Vaca got against Honeyghan in the first fight? I am struggling to think of a worse cut, that I have seen in boxing.

Best of my recollection it was from a punch, but it was a long time ago. Couldn't swear to it.

The startling thing was to watch his trunks go from white to red in a relatively short time -- and I mean completely red.
