The whole fun and point of TUF is to show what happens in the house. Its more entertaining then the fights (lets be honest) and the audience get a grasp of the chracters and personalities therefore grudge matches become more intresting.

Who gives a shit about the coaches??!!

The fact that they dont show much house action, means I wont watch it again. UFC is stagnating in the UK (dont know about USA) 2 years ago everyone was talking about it, now no one really gives a damn and with ESPN losing the footie few people are gonna subscribe to the channel, leading to an even smaller audience for the UFC

the concept has not evolved, quite clearly the opposite and thats a bad combination, especially when mixed with fanbase thats better educated in regards to mma.

Im actually a good example, when it comes to the above mentioned. When i started out watching the show, i hadnt trained in any sort of martial art, so i couldnt really judge it, i just enjoyed the voilence. Since then i have had the pleasure of doing a bit of boxing and mma, nothing serious though, but enough for me to know what im talking about. As i´ve become more knowledgable, the show simply offers less.

Okay, ill admit, that its fine with a little drama, but im really missing a lot, when it comes to training and the tactical choices before a fight. Im not talking about a 90 min breakdown and analysis, but i would really enjoy it, if the coaches and fighters tactical choices were a more important part of the show, likewise with training. They know who are fighting, perhaps they could be a bit more thorough in following the fighters who are going to fight, see how they are preparing for the opponets strenghts and weaknesses.

It was a good marketing tool for promoting fights back in the day, but I think it jumped the shark in being entertaining around about season 5 and the Evans v Rampage and Kimbo anticlimax killed it as a way to draw in casuals to buy PPV's imho

Time to let it die I think
