Some believe he threw that fight. I don't know of any solid evidences. It's kinda inconsistent, I'll say that much. Dempsey had more than thirty fights by then (some reasonably outweighed) losing only once, Flynn was already 38, and according to most papers it happened within 10 secs in the fight with one punch (Dempsey had been knocked down 9 times in a previous bout and was able to get away with a draw. It happened in the first round, so that might indicate that Dempsey could be caught cold. Offed by one though? And against Jim Flynn? I don't know. Most of Flynn's official victories were by KO but none of those were against any decent fighter). Never heard of any definitive evidences, though, and Jack himself never mentioned anything about a fix. Not that I know of.

There is zero evidence to suggest it's a fix.

Jack just got straight up one-bombed.

Dude, Tito won his 1st 40 fights, titles in 3 Divisions, including going 20-0 in title fights.....You have your criteria and I have mine....He had trouble with movers, yeah so did Joe Louis and Alexis Arguello, who he actually reminds me of, though not as accomplishe.d. Back to the question Hopkins - Trinidad...
