Honest opinion or wishful thinking?

I mean, to my eyes and most others' it looked very much like a case of one guy just having the other's #.

It isn't like Khan vs. Garcia where you can point to Khan having clearly boxed his head off for a couple of rounds before getting hurt. (and even there, I don't favor a reversal of fortune in the rematch over a repeat)

Khan looked and acted like the superior fighter during every PC, faceoff, weigh in, the introduction, the staredown, and the shaking of hands prior to the opening bell, and up to the time he was caught.

Bute, OTOH, was trying to be Froch's best buddy. He showed ZERO aggression or confidence in any of the leadups to his downfall.

So, either he thought he was just sooooo much better than Froch, or he was trying cover up his own insecurity. My guess is he was overwhelmed by the hate he recieved leading up to the fight.

He wont be hated on in Montreal, nor will he get "deer in the headlights/freeze". If your right, then Carl KOs him inside the opening 2 rds. If Im right.....Lucian returns to his old self, and fight smartly to a UD or TKO later on in the fight.

Half and half actually, on one hand I just like trollin' the Brits about Bute but on the other there is just something about that night that was off as far as what Bute was doing.

Soon as Froch realized he could handle Bute's power he just didn't give a hell and walked through him and Bute didn't know how to react to that. No foot movement, nothing. I'm sure he'll have smartened up come March (I hope)

I didn't expect Sillakh to lose, no. I didnt expect him to buckle from a singular shot either nor did I know he had zero defensive answer for resolving himself when hurt. Had he simply taken a knee, he would have likely recovered, but that's subjective.

I didnt expect Bute to get smoked, or fight like he was packing Ross Purrity iron either. He's never fought like he had an iron chin and I didnt expect to see him completely try to slug it out with Froch....it's not his game.
We'll see in MARCH if he's ruined.
But Grachev in Nov.....that's just a horrible mismatch. Might as well send Sillakh in there with him Never mind.....Sillakh would have been a far better LOC.

You need to rematch Carl Froch-Lucian Bute. Because if Bute gonna react the same way he did when he got hurt against Froch, then just imagine what a 175lb puncher can do with him, if he get caught. We might see a Deja Vu of the Sillakh fight, where Bute outboxes him, but then Grachev gets to him and then
