When it comes to padding records it dose'nt get much worse than Australia.
With the ammount of thai, filo and indo imports brought in for padding these days you would have no problem getting a fighter with limited ability to a perfect 10-0-0 record. Throw in a few Pan-Pac titles and you have half our boxing scene covered. To answer your question, yes it would be very easy. Take Heath Ellis for example. famous last name with very little fighting ability. He racked up wins against imports for his first dozen fights. Throw him in with a decent Aussie banger and looked what happened. Padding records does nothing but fill the trophy case with meaningless titles

This happens all the time in Australia. Very very averages fighters with ridiculous padded records continually fighting bums from lower weight classes.

Poeple pay too much attention to the W-L-D stats and not enough attention to who is in the list of opponents and their ranking at the time of the fight. Also way to much emphasis is on 0 losses, or citing high KO % when they have all been nobodies. I reckon it would be reasonably easy

Saul Farah, who was meant to come out here recently and believe it or not fight for a title, is a good case in point. 40 wins, 34 by KO, but have a closer look at his opponent's pathetic records and the real story emerges very quickly >>> [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] |

Fenech was the pioneer of padding records, he taught Billy Hussein the tricks of the trade and you will find most if not all of Billy Husseins fighters all have padded records.
Then you have matchmakers like Lincon Hudson who then took what Fenech taught to guys like Billy and employed it in his own tactical matchmaking skills. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Ninos Slewa, one of Lincons fighters, hopless in the ring but this guy wins a state title fighting another hopless fighter. Its pretty fcked up and cant be something to be respected. Blokes doing this should loose their matchmakers licence straight away but the NSW commission are in bed with these guys and do nothing. Heres another one.. Bobby Antonakos, Who ends up fighting Hiroaki Morita 0-1-1 for the state title, its fcking up the sport. Bobby trained by Billy Hussein at the time. Anything to get these guys a state title so they can brag to their mates that they have won a pro state title, when infact its just been given to them on a silver plate.
