Shane likes his space to set up punches, box and move. Aaron wouldn't give him time, space or punching room. Bad fight for Mosley.
Pryor takes a points win in a thriller |

Damn what a war. Mosley puts him down and wins a decision. Shane had an epic body attack in his prime, people forget this.

I struggle to see mosley losing a brawl to anyone at that weight based on his skillsets but he was very unproven at the weight. Pryor was proven, very proven at the weight.
I struggle to see shane losing but if he were to lose this kind of fight, it would be to a great such as pryor. I give pryor the edge here. Close favourite. |

We know Mosley had trouble with taller, longer boxers who used jabs and timing to upset his rhythm...
Pryor is none of those things. I think it's a pick 'em fight. I would give the edge to Pryor. |

I think Mosley might knock Pryor out. Mosley's at his best in a dogfight like this, his speed, power, bodypunching and P4P strength. Mosley's also significantly bigger and stronger than Pryor.
140 would have been Mosley's optimum weight class |

I've heard that Bobby Joe Young was considered as one of the hardest punchers in the welterweight division when he fought shot drug addict Pryor.
This fight was a pretty good testament to Pryor's chin resistance. Quote:
Although I can see why some favour Mosley over Pryor. Quote:
Pryor could have fought at lightweight. Mosley was more like a natural welter/light welter in his lightweight championship days. |

I like Mosley. He could keep his space from the on coming Pryor.

I take Moseley in this one. That is if Pryor is not on the one Lewis mixed. He holds his chin too high to win a brawl against someone not naturally smaller than him. Shane might have even stopped him late.

Mosley would be fucked making even 140 on the same day.
Pryor would get to Shane's dehydrated corpse late. Unless Shane pulled out a Bobby Joe Young-esque headbutt. |
