I'd back Pryor big to win. Better skills, proved it vs better comp at the weights in question. Mosley was a physical phenom sure, but he'd need more than that vs the Hawk, whose skills are perennially underrated.

Pryor was a bit more electric and more explosive but Shane was solid and had a tighter defense for the most part, this would be a battle and I think Pryor and his relentlessness would prevail but SSM also had some excellent skills and terrific chin so it would go ebb and flow down to the wire....I would be on Aaron but may be wrong

Mosely in a close fight, I can see him decking Pryor, I don`t see Pryor decking him... small detail I know but in a tight fight like this it could make the difference.
Even if Shane didn`t score a KD I still feel his punches would do the more damage throughout & that would earn him the decision albeit in a close one. |

Most polls are not quite as close as this one is....probably ='s that this would have been a great closely contsted fight.

People are underestimating the skill differential here. Pryor was a far more varied and versatile fighter than Shane. If Pryor was losing the fight one way, he could make adjustments to fight it another way. Shane couldn't.

people are picking shane on his great speed, an power, which wouldnt finish pryor cause he had a great chin an recuperative ability. Shane was kind of one dimensional. Take away his massive early drug cycle an he has a problem

I go with Shane. Alexis was great, but at 140 he was not at his best weight, and he did lose partly because Aaron was stronger. Shane would be strong at 140. It would be a fight where Shane would try to control with his inside speed and power, and he would be able to neutralize Aaron.

Pryor by UD in an all time great classic.
Must admit, if anybody were to be stopped though, it'd be Pryor. Shane has an atg chin. But still, I like Pryor by decision. |
