Yes, I saw that.

'Atom Amos' did score a legitimate' knockdown on 'The Granite Chinned'
Canadian - George Chuvalo.

Amos also had a 'controversial' 10-Round Draw with German, Kark 'Milde'
Mildenberger on November 20, 1964 - in Germany.

Sadly for Amos, Clay/Ali never really shouted for a pro rematch with him, Ali did try (with tongue in cheek, to Drum up a match with additional amatuer conquerer Kent Green during a bored / fallow period, Kent did beat Amos when they were fledgling Pro's..so maybe Kent deserved first Shout ? Some pantomime fun for the hacks whilst the real stew was simmering !

Friday Night - November 20, 1964

Deutschlandehalle - Berlin, Germany

Attendance; 10,000

#7 Ranked Heavyweight - Karl 'Milde' Mildenberger 41-2-2 (16 KO's)...(195 lbs.)
vs.
#15 Ranked Heavyweight - 'Atom Amos' Johnson 18-3-1 (8 KO's)....(193 lbs.)

The 27 year-old 'southpaw' German Heavyweight Karl Mildenberger looks
to validate his Heavyweight ranking by taking on 'muscular' boxer-puncher,
25 1/2 year-old 'southaw' American heavyweight, 'Atom Amos Johnson.

The Fight;

Moments into the bout, 'Atom Amos' pops Mildenberger in the nose with a
left hook, causing blood to flow, while sweeping 'Round 1' with hard punches.

But suprisingly, it is Mildenberger who takes control in Round 2, and keeps
busy with an assortment of body and head punches to sweep the next '3'
Rounds.

The American rallies back in Round 5, by landing some solid body blows, and
several good right hands.

But in Round 6, Johnson tires, and Mildenberger turns aggressor, scoring with
sharp left hands to the face.

In Round 7, Karl Mildenberger has his best round, and he starts to land with
authority, and moves forward with a heavy body assault that has 'Atom Amos' in
some trouble along the ropes.

What appears to be a victory in the waiting for the German, takes a dramatic turn
in Round 8 as Amos Johnson lands a big left hook that has Mildenberger 'reeling'.
Johnson pounds the fading German thoughout Rounds 8, 9 and 10 - and has
Mildenberger on the verge of a knockout as the bell saves Mildenberger in
each of the last '3' Rounds.

The bout is ruled a 'Draw'.

Friday - January 10, 1964

'Downtown Gym - Cleveland, Ohio

'Atom Amos' Johnson, southpaw Heavyweight from Medina (north-central Ohio)
floored Canadian Heavyweight George Chuvalo in a sparring session.

George Chuvalo, 'the unbreakable' Canadian heavyweight is here in Cleveland for
a fight next Friday Night - January 17, 1964 bout with Top-ranked Heavyweight - Zora Folley.

During the sparring session, with 50 spectators in attendance, Amos Johnson
landed a right hook, left hook and follow up right which dropped the 'unsuspecting'
Chuvalo on the seat of his pants.

The Canadian has claimed that he never has visited the canvas, and this may be
the first time anyone has ever put the 'rock jawed' Chuvalo down.

After a brief rest break, both boys continued with their punching, and sparred
for several more 3-minute rounds.

Saturday Aftrernoon - October 22, 1966

Estadio Luna Park - Buenos Aires, Argentina

Oscar 'Ringo' Bonavena 22-3-0 (18 KO's)
vs.
'Atom Amos' Johnson 22-5-2 (11 KO's)

#7 Ranked Heavyweight - 24 year-old Argentinian - Oscar Bonavena (205 lbs.) takes on
American - #15 Ranked Heavyweight - 27 1/2 year-old Amos Johnson (200 lbs.)

The Argentinian, who recently lost a 'disputed' Decision to American - Joe Frazier, is hoping
for a rematch with the 'undefeated' Philadelphia Heavyweight, or potential fight with
Heavyweight Champion Cassius Clay.

'Atom Amos' who has lost '2' in a row, has dropped from the #5 Heavyweight in the rankings
down to #18, needs a victory here in Argentina, to salvage his career in hopes of getting
a World Title shot for 1967, otherwise a loss will send 'Atom Amos' into 'journeyman status'.

Cassius Clay promised to fight Amos Johnson '3 different times' in 1966,
before 'Atom Amos' fought and was KO'd by Sonny Liston on August 19, 1966.

Well, look at that. The document proving all your claims has been "accidentally" miniaturised so that it's unreadable. What are the odds?
