N over8ed fighter .

Louis was another circus show , a showbiz stunt , needed 4 American propaganda and nationalism . Like Schmelling was 4 Hitler .

Clay , William Harison , Joe Louis , Max Schmelling , Billy Conn were all hype jobs . Of course that they had a clue about fighting , but they were not any better , and sometimes even much worse than much more obscure and lowly regarded fighters whom get dissed by d homo erotic worshipers in this type of forums .
never leave this forum frank

Conn doesn't get enough credit for having the balls of steel to step in the Ring and go 13 rounds with Joe Louis at 166 pounds.

Billy Conn was a tough SOB and could fight.

Today someone would request a 'catchweight' fight with Louis

They don't make them like Joe Louis and Billy Conn anymore sadly.

Hahaha... Rico Spadafore, weird dude. His whole comment is about how tough and unbeatable-superman'ish the boxers 70 years ago used to be. Complete bullcrap.

catchweights are much rarer now than they used to be.

conn though, I think he could outpoint any of the HW's out there. Only the Baer brother's I'd favour over him.
