I still love boxing more than MMA but every now and then, I'd like to see all out violence and noone IMO, brought it more than Manhoef.

Can you imagine if this guy was in the UFC when he was Hero's? Dude would have been the best TV fighter they'd ever produced. I love Melvins kill or be killed style. Best fantasy matchup ever Wand vs Melvin. The violence! O the violence

I like Melvin. He fights w/ unbridled fury and little if any intelligence. Makes for awesome bouts. No way in Hell he shoulda took that loss to Lawler but that's what happens when you fight with reckless abandon.

The UFC tried courted him before. He gave them the finger. Even though he signed a contract with SF i doubt he'll come over to the UFC at least not on the UFC terms. Melvin is a bit long in the tooth now. His best days are over.
Id still pay good money to watch him vs the current version of Wand though |

I love Melvin, yes......but would be so hard to him learn more things on the ground ? I always supported him and plenty of times and I was pretty dissapointed with him due to the fact that he was clueless on the ground and an easy prey there.....

I think one of his best entrances ever was when he fought Donk Sik at Dynamite USA in 2007. I recorded it on DVD at the time and Melvin literally looked like a caged animal as he came to the ring blaring Lil Wayne.
I think there was another time in CR when he came to the ring on a leash on all fours with Big Mike holding him back like a pit bull. |
