Great to hear Grange coming here telling it how it is. But Garrie Francisco was quoted in The Australian only the other day saying that Daniel would be fighting Sam Soliman next

I don't think the IBF are too keen on interim titles which is a good thing imo. The only IBF interim i can recall handed out was to Shamba Mitchell when Tszyu was unable to fight due to injury.

Unification bouts take preference over mandatory contenders and it is unlikely Team Soliman could make an offer attractive enough to make the mandatory happen at this stage.

Any reports to the contrary are false.

Daniel will fight Sam when it suits Daniel.
How do you plan to get Geale back to the top after Mundine beats him and takes his belts again?

I wonder who the undisclosed possibilty would be if it wasn't Mundine, as Martinez is clearly the biggest name in middleweight.

Assuming it is Mundine, stating him indirectly as an 'undisclosed possibility' adds a bit more allure to the matchup, good wording by Team Grange.

The press report was a misquote taken from an AAP interview where I said

"Daniel will fight Sam Soliman most likely next year"...

There is a snowballs chance in hell Anthony Mundine will ever fight Daniel again nor does he deserve the opportunitty after ducking a rematch order and a second offer.

Or this statement may be a tactic to suck more money from Mundine.

The general public of Australia will always have the mentality that "Geale is great but Mundine still beat him..."

Great to hear, Soliman would be a one sided drubbing and Mundine can get fucked, Geale is Aus boxing now and the other two need to move aside.
