Les Piper's opponent ****** Murray is one of the most underrated MMA fighters around and always very entertaining to watch. Les isn't your most orthodox boxer so under the COMBAT8 rules system this will be a very interesting fight.

Tui Leveni is a great fighter, big puncher, good defence and very tough. Came home very strong against Rob Medley in their fight. He no doubt has the biggest challenge of his career against Greg "Pretty Boy" Foley. Won 70 of his 77 fights, fought them all. Greg is fit, he has trained very hard for this fight and won't leave anything behind once he steps into the Cube, nor will Tui.

Local amateur champion Matt Stapleford has stepped up to the challenge against former Australian Commonwealth Games representative King Dane Mulivai. This fight has had plenty of hype surrounding it with the boys regularly taunting each other on social media and it poses to be a great fight.

Big Oscar is fighting on the card and spider may be right, his record shows that he isn't the best boxer around but take two minutes to have a look at it again. Oscar has fought all of the best heavyweights we have produced except Kali I think, he has never turned down a fight and he always walks forward throwing punches. Remember COMBAT8 isn't boxing and if Oscar gets his hands on someone and picks them up and slams them, I don't care who they are its not taken easy. I matched Oscar against Newcastle's Patrick Kennedy, an old rival of his from way back. Even though COMBAT8 is being broadcasted world wide we still have the best part of 1500 Novacastrians wanting to cheer on some local flavour and Pat is Newcastle's favourite son.

I haven't read all the blurb or I probably wouldn't be asking this question, but how is it being broadcast worldwide?

On there way, just waiting on dates for the broadcast on Fox. ****** Murray is an animal and King Dane Mulivai is one to keep your eye out for as well.

It sounds absolutely re****ed. So... they put guys in a ring... make them fight on their feet without the use of elbows, knees, or kicks.... to see who is best between boxers and mma? That makes all kinds of great sense.
