How do you guys see this playing out?
The first fight I believe should have gone to Palacios. Włodarczyk not opening up, not really threatening Palacios at any point, while Palacios maybe didn't hurt Krzysztof, he out worked him, and seemed the one in charge of the fight. Both fighters have been pretty inactive, haven't fought since November. Włodarczyk having problems in his personal life in the mean time, and just doesn't seem hungry or have any fire in his fights anymore, all the while Palacios seems to want it more. I think this time around Palacios will take this fight on a comfortable UD. I hope Diablo proves me wrong, but with his abysmal activity levels throughout a fight, I don't think he will against a live body like Palacios. |

Wasilewski, Wlod's promoter, said the same thing, that he doesn't see motivation in Krzysztof... I really hope he gets back on track, he needs to KO Palacios, and KO him good style to think of bigger and better fights

I don't think he will. I don't think his head is in boxing anymore. He has had some real big issues lately (fucking suicide attempt), and I think he is just trying to cash in checks at this point. He has somewhat fallen apart, and I think it will all come out to the surface against Palacios, who is taking this fight seriously, while like you said, in the mean time there is talk of Włodarczyk not being motivated by his own promoter. |

The Wizard will enchant the Devil again.
Just because Wlod pummeled Green doesn't mean he's any better than he was back when he got the gift over Palacios. Green is just terrible. |

Added poll.
He sure hit Green hard. But Green isn't the live body Palacios is, 10 more days and we will see! I've watched a bunch of Włodarczyk fights, and in every fight get super frustrated by his ultra-low activity rates. Which imo will be the end of him. I've screamed at the TV before for him to open up, and he just continues to take 5 shots and answer with maybe 1. |

Yeah, Green's jittery defense can't be mistaken for the fluidity of Palacios.
Krzystof's power wasn't much of a factor last time so it's hard to see much changing, especially where he isn't getting any younger or faster or busier... |

Matt Godfrey talks about his sparring sessions with Diablo, he also helped Krzysztof prepare for his first fight against Palacios |

I hope he wins and without a doubt will be pulling hard for him. But after their last fight, I honestly can't see Diablo getting to Palacios. Palacios moves around way too much for Diablo, comes in with shots, then jumps out, completely neutralizing Włodarczyk and being out of his way before Diablo could load up. Włodarczyk has to work to get this win, or at least work to make it look competitive at minimum! |

Francisco decision. Wlodarczyk best attribute is his defense. He loses rounds without really getting beat up because of his high gaurd but it is also his curse. When in his shell he flat does nothing and gives away chunks of rounds.
Diablo has always been frustrating to me. Lots of power but never learned how to set-up and deliver it. |

Masternak just had a kid born a day or two ago, right before his fight. Looking forward to seeing him, and hopefully he starts stepping up the opposition, because honestly he has been fighting below his level a bit too much lately. But they say if he wins this fight he will be fighting for the Euro CW belt next, which he should easily get imo.
If Diablo loses this fight. I don't see him getting a chance to regain a belt at CW anytime soon. Especially since there are rumors of him not giving a flying fuck himself. Last edited by turbina; 09-14-2012 at 04:32 PM. |
