Ive been ligting weights for a bit and recently started boxing, packed in doin heavy ones and got some 5kg dumbells and a couple of kettleballs. Using those feels better, feel sharper. Way i look at is im a boxer, not a body builder.

Lifting heavy weights doesn't make you a bodybuilder. I found weight training in a undulated daily periodised fashion did wonders for my boxing.

Thing Ive got with this, is all or most exercises done with weigths, you have the Bio mechanical Break on, the Heel. It restricts Athletic movement of Feel, Slap and Tickle reflex is lost, Ive found.

Years ago They did, but I found that by asking the Question, WHY, the answers I got were not what I was looking for'. As regards Balance of movement, Speed, Agility and Body mechanics, with a High Lactic Threshold. As a coach, I am responsible for getting people Fit, and Skilled, without injuries, thats the Bottom line.
