I would tend to agree. But there has to be more to it.

She said her husband had not been keen on the sale of their Carss Park mansion, but in the end "he is not here".

Did Tim fight there??

I know Nikita won the golden gloves a couple of weeks back but wasn't aware Tim was fighting there.

There has to be more to it...........I read that his wife said ' men should be men' not quite sure what she means by that........anyway his family don't seem too worried by his decision so I guess we shouldn't either.....just because your a great fighter doesn't mean you become a great family man.

and live in another country on the other side of the planet because your popular and people are more impressed by your past achievements.

Lebedev btw is the son of his former amateur teammate from the Soviet Union national side so those connections go way back. Gee didn't know that mate. Great reason for leaving your family.

Lebedev Sr won gold in the LH division at the Sydney Olympics (stopping Danny Green along the way). so what

Would have been a handy recruit to our professional ranks if someone had the foresight to turn him pro at the same time as Kostya.
If Green or Mundine had done this you would be crucifying them and wanting them burned at the stake.
KT great fighter not that great a person by the looks of it.
