Default *VIDEO* Critique for footwork/stance/balance

Please give me some feedback on my footwork, stance and balance. I was mostly working on creating angles. I tend to be flatfooted, and I'm trying to cure it. I'm in the red headgear.

* you drop your hands
* your elbows are out when your hands are up
* your throws are slow and seem independent from your body movements
* most of the time you dont move after throwing
* you move back a lot
* you stay in one spot to let someone throw you on
* your opponent is probably doing more harm to your technique then good

You need to recover your hands better - back to your face. Keeping them down, like Roy Jones will get you countered easily with other opponents.
I agree with Cheech, you need a sparring partner that's going to do a little more than be a punching bag. I don't mean to be overly critical, it's awesome that you both are doing this. But my 70 yr old dad can take your opponent. And speaking from experience, I have sparred with lesser opponents myself, and the biggest damage that they do is give you false confidence in your defense - not because they "can't" hit you - but because they're not even "trying" to hit you.
At this point, the best critique I can give is - take it easy on the poor guy.
And ease up on the head shots when he's backed against the wall. I don't like seeing his head bounce off the wall like that.

....oh and your footwork doesn't look too bad, just work on:
- not getting so square at times (one of my bad habits)
- not hopping around too much (yeah, everyone here acts like hopping around is the worst thing in the world, but most of us do it - just try not to do it unecessarily, like I noticed many times when you're stationary, you're still hopping up/down. Just plant your feet and let one rip)

I understand. We just tried (mistakenly) to have him more like a mobile punching bag that would throw just enough to keep me honest. I figured sparring "light" like this would have me focused more on my movement.

When I go faster/harder sparring... I wouldn't tend to move and try to create angles at all. So we tried this..

So would you recommend that I just work on it (footwork/angles) while doing shadowboxing,mittwork and the bags and then just try it during regular sparring??
