My question is what has Canelo done to make him a big threat?

Default Why does Floyd always have an excuse about...

A legit challenger?

I'd love for him to come out and say "I don't want to fight *insert fighter here* and that's that" instead of his pathetic excuses (Weight loss, Vacation etc).

Even if he wasn't locked up he'd still be coming out with excuses or fighting in another meaningless fight.

It'll be a great day when this guy actually does retire for good. His career north of 140 has been laughable.

Canelo has done **** all. I mean the kid has had 400 fights and his coming out fight was against MATTHEW HATTON, for **** sake.

He just has the size, skill and workrate to give someone like Floyd something to think about.

Hatton was a LWW blown up.

Cotto had seen better days, this is a fact. Should of happened in '08.

Oscar was passing the torch.

Marquez? Go **** yourself. He had to go TWO weightclasses up!!

Mosley? Mosley nearly took Floyd's jaw off in the 2nd or 3rd, and that Shane was about 95 years old.

Hatton was/is bigger than Floyd, just because he didn't boil down to 140 doesn't change that fact.

Mosley was the welterweight champ, Marquez schooled Pac at welterweight 2 years later

Mosely was the current WBC champ and his previous fight was him beating the living shit out of Margarito

Cotto was the LMW champ and Floyd went UP to fight him.

De La Hoya may have been slightl past his best but he was still world class, and yet again Floyd went UP to fight him and was probably 15 lbs lighter than him on fight night.

Judah gased just like he did against Baldomir before he fought Floyd.. Wasn't really a big secret. Good win.. impressive no.
